Der K\u00fcnstler als Mensch war nicht \u00fcbersinnlich, sondern Botschafter. Mit dem Christentum wurde dieses Bild des Genius im negativen Sinne d\u00e4monisiert und geriet in Vergessenheit. Erst die Renaissance belebte es wieder, aber jetzt war es der Mensch, der K\u00fcnstler selbst, der das Genie verk\u00f6rperte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seitdem hat der Geniekult ausladende Bl\u00fcten getrieben \u2013 noch immer pr\u00e4gt er unser Bild vom erfolgreichen oder versagenden K\u00fcnstler, der das Zeug zu gro\u00dfen Bildern hat oder eben nicht hat. Der an einmalige Erfolge ankn\u00fcpfen kann, oder eben nicht. Die Balance zu finden zwischen dem Glauben an die eigenen F\u00e4higkeiten und die Hingabe an etwas Gr\u00f6\u00dferes, das die eigene Arbeit bestimmt, ist eine gro\u00dfe, vielleicht die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung f\u00fcr junge K\u00fcnstler (und nicht nur K\u00fcnstler):&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Selbstbehauptung in einer von Narzissmus und hysterischer Unterhaltungssucht gepr\u00e4gten Welt, in der alle reden, aber kaum jemand zuh\u00f6ren will.
